What's in a name? Plenty. The new breakfast/lunch place that has just  quietly opened in the old Café Blue spot in Scottsdale has the perfect  name to lure customers: Bacon.
           
           
It's run by the same folks behind Devil's Martini, and their  promotional skills go beyond naming. When I stopped by to look in and  pick up a menu over the weekend, I could smell the bacon a block away.  You need superhuman will to walk by.
             
The menu sticks to breakfast tradition. Hungry? Try three eggs, bacon,  sausage, home fries, beans and toast ($8.50), or the combo of two eggs,  bacon, gravy with cheese curds and fries ($9.50).Counting calories?  There's an egg white omelet with broccoli, mushrooms, tomato and  cottage cheese salsa ($8.95), or a fruit, granola and yogurt parfait  ($3.25).
           
Lunch means salads, like spinach with shrimp, bacon and feta  ($8.25), and sandwiches (served with fries and cole slaw), like grilled  chicken with Asiago cheese on a baguette ($7.95).
           
Bacon also does dinnertime barbecue Thursday through Saturday. Look for ribs, brisket, pulled pork and salmon.
